The origin of this DIE-EK5 model is enigmatic, but it is presumed this cognitive synthetic humanoid was devised to remedy psychological weaknesses which plague humanity.  The painted “calico” exterior is a strategic defensive trait allowing it to appear harmless and practically invisible to all other synthetic sensory devices.  However, this outer nano skin requires an insatiable rate of energy consumption and a constant need for replenishment.  If you are unfortunate enough to encounter a DIE-EK5, your only chance for survival is to try to outrun or outlast it.
