Thorp’s genesis piece “Degradation” was generated by uniquely crafting and accumulating over 500 individually designed frames into three looping animations, forming an intersecting triptych in motion.  The concept for this touchstone image work is based on the speculative, converging path between artificial intelligence and humanity into one singular existence.
